The RF Interface FI750/RF/W2W forms a gateway between RF components Series FI750/RF and a Fire Detection Control Panel Series BC600. The communication with the control panel is established via the loop with Labor Strauss protocol.
Altogether, the RF interface can communicate with up to 127 wireless elements Series FI750/RF. The long range of transmission of up to 500m to wireless elements can be increased to more than 4km by using RF expanders. The RF interface can be linked with up to 15 RF expanders. In this way, a hierarchical RF system with up to 8 levels can be created. Up to 32 wireless elements Series FI750/RF can be assigned directly to the RF interface and to every RF expander.
The device addresses are set either through the operation menu of the RF interface or through the PC software TauREX. In addition to the parameterisation of the RF system, this program also allows the analysis and graphical depiction of signal strength and transmission quality.
Three LEDs indicate the system conditions ‚power', ‚fault' and ‚alarm'. The RF interface is equipped with a dual-isolator, which disconnects the loop in case of a short circuit. The two orthogonal antennas are accommodated in the case.
The RF system is especially suitable for areas where cabling is impossible or uneconomical.
