The MC 740P magnetic contacts (with cabling down) are designed for surface mounting on doors and windows to protection against unauthorised opening. The shape and dimensions of the contacts enable them to be mounted in inaccessible places, such as gaps in drawers. The high quality reed contacts are gold-plated and coated with Ruthenium, which permits safe and reliable switching at very small currents and gives an extremely long life expectancy. They are designed for modern control units with a low loop current down to 1 microampere. The magnet is made of 'Alnico 5' alloy (aluminium-nickel-cobalt), which prevents demagnetisation and provides high stability of the magnetic field over a long time span. The contacts can be ordered in white or brown waterproof ABS-plastic housing.
